Social arts research informing practice

Excerpt from a Q&A session with Artist Steve lambert concerning utopias in arts and social practice. The full interview is obtainable upon request.

This information serves to inform my practice within social contexts as to how the arts can be educational. Further relevant research includes Darren O’Donnell’s concept on Social Acupuncture and contemporary arts practice to unite and politically motivate social spheres.

O’Donnell’s work appears similar to my own intentions to utilise art as a talking point for change and reflection.

I will continue to report relating research and how it informs my practice as I continue to devise scripts for the final Masters Module installation.
